Ted from Cloudo here.

It HAS taken far more time than originally planned to develop Cloudo. We acquired and incorprated bits an WebOS called Challenger and we actually have rebuilt big chunks of the core system since first announced (under the name of Xindesk), to make the service run smoother and more elegantly.

We are dedicated to developing the best online alternative (or addition) to the offline desktop environments we all use, and we aren't satisfied until it is as snappy and as user friendly as Windows or Mac OS. This will take time. To avoid making anyone dissapointed we aren't communicating any release dates, but it will take many months before the service is stable and usable enough for consumers. Until them we are in beta.

The reason that we still are in private beta is both because the system isn't ready yet, and also because we want to deliver of the developer's expectations in terms of giving feedback etc.

In a few months hopefully we will extend the beta to public beta.

Sorry if we made anyone dissapointed not communicating often enough, but we strongly believe you have to have something to say to talk.

Best,

Personally I believe Cloudo gives a whole new meaning to the word waporware. But hey, they are owned by an advertisement agency, so what could one expect? Mockup, Photoshop anyone?

I agree with the above comment, try http://icloud.com instead. Its not perfect yet, but things are happening and it could get awesome if things continue to progress.
