Which BitTorrent client do you use?

Personally, I use µTorrent in both Windows and Linux (under WINE). It’s light, clean, no nonsense but sadly not open-source. :(

I’m planning on trying to do a survey on client usage through analysing my peers on a variety of downloads. Whilst this will be less than scientific, I think it’ll be an interesting project. Anyone who wants to help me log, and I could do with a JavaScript or Flash developer/designer too, please comment and I’ll email you about it!

  1. I like Azureus on my Ubuntu box. I’m fairly certain it’s open source too, is that right?

  2. Ben G: Yup, Azureus is open source to my knowledge. It’s cool that it handles magnet links too.

  4. I too use utorrent. It’s extremely light on resources, with a good number of features

  5. Running an Azureus 3 varient now, I’ve always been a fan of Azureus. Used uTorrent before and liked it but what with all of it’s controversy and the fact that it is closed source means I’ll kindly stick with my blue frog. :)
