Introducing Posts of the Week

Internet — Joe Anderson @ 9:27 pm Sunday 21 January 2007

From now on, I will try to post of the best blog posts from the week from various blogs every Sunday. This, of course, might have some rare exceptions (such as holidays), however I shall try to stick to it.

So, here’s the first review:

Mapping the Web did a post a bit like our What is Web 2.0? but suggested instead of calling it Web 2.0 we should call it The New Web; he did see a problem in that term nonetheless:

I tend to use the term “The New Web”. It works for me and isn’t overly cliched. Although I dread a time when “The Newer Web” or “The New & Improved Web” come along.

Boing Boing blogged about a new type of Ubuntu which will focus on media creation.

PaulTech blogged about a pretty cool method for discovering which websites are sharing your Gmail address.

Neil Turner has celebrated his 5th blogiversary. Wow! 5 years is an amazing long time to blog; I think it’s cool my 2 year blogiversary is coming up alter this year. :P

David Pogue has an ode to the RIAA.

Also, Compete made a good post comparing the share price of Audible.com to its visitors.
