So many Web 1.0 era websites still exist, and so many still boast their Web 1.0 design.
While I’m sure eBay’s design has changed over the past few years, its still fairly like it was back in 2002. Then we have all of the web portals, which are all… well… web portals.
But which site is the worst? I’ve made a poll, and would appreciate your opinion. Don’t vote for this site, look: Ajax poll with the option to add options!

I’ve been wanting to do a post along these lines for a long time now, so I added IMDb since I don’t actually visit any of the others. Perhaps it gets lotsa votes and they’ll actually do something about it? I’d love to see IMDb become sort of a Last.fm community. You could even scrobble movies you watch through Front Row or something. Well, at least I think that would be cool.
I voted IMDB as well but would really love to see DMOZ/ODP be brought into web 2.0 in both function and design.
Anthony: I’m sure that could be achieved, considering ODP is well… open.
What about Yahoo, or at least, some of Yahoo’s sub pages? Does anyone even use sites like Lycos and go.com anymore?
Joe: Ha ha ha ha ODP open??? Now I’ve heard everything. I’m guessing you’ve never been an editor at DMOZ or submitted sites. It will go down as the great disappointment of the web. They won’t be getting web 2.0 makeover in either design or function until hell freezes over.
By open I meant that is can be easily mirrored (there’s a whole category of DMOZ mirrors at Hotscripts).
My point was that someone could mirror the data and make it more Web 2.0.
I didn’t add Tripod or even Angelfire to the vote list. But Tripod is the first vote from anyone. By myself so it seems. They have lots of eazy tools to make good looking websites with. Maybe they should use them and get up to date with their Big Brother Lycos.I’m no expert on graphic design products, but php written websites are the best.
