Although I agree that these polls are somewhat fun, I have to point out that they are useless for purposes other than having this minimal degree of fun alluded to above.  The selectivity of respondents is not randomized, making any inferences regarding populations impossible.  I do not see actually what the creators of this site are attempting to achieve.  However, if it feels good, then my all means indulge.

		<description>Firstly I am honoured to be here :) Thanks a ton for this.
The first topics was chosen for obvious reasons : its a popular topic and can get me off to a good start, and attract alot of visitors, the next topics will be much more unique, idiotic, and controvensial.
The large gap is happening because its checking for double votes :P it runs through a list of IPs to make sure nobody votes twice, but the vote gets registered even if he/she leaves the page before it changing.
