BitziHave you heard of ? Are you a die-hard fan or a  What’s that?

For those who don’t know it’s an anybody can edit database for any file residing on the internet. It’s generally used for files residing on and though, however it can be used for FastTrack, Direct Connect, ed2k (though I wouldn’t).

It is very useful as it allows you to find out if the file you are about to isn’t what you think it is.

This idea is similar to , but is far better, partly as it covers more files.

Anyhow, the site is really good. You contribute information on certain files, such as giving it a rating and and stating the metadata.

Bitzi is integated into so many applications like BearShare, LimeWire, Shareaza, Morpheus and TrustyFiles. It also had it’s own tool called to sumbit the files.

It also allows you to search the 1,692,597 files in it’s database - cross network – and faster than traditional P2P search.
