Sorry for the lack of updates everybody, I am currently not able to access the Internet easily.
Microsoft announced that the next verson of Windows, previously codenamed Longhorn, will be called WindowsVista. This is following the Microoft trend giving everything a nice name, like Windows XP instead of Windows Insecure.
This new version of Windows is supposed to be secure (I give it 24hrs before it’s proven otherwise) and it only runs on high-spec computers, which I believe will result in lower sales than Windows XP. Vista is scheduled for release in late 2006. This will be the longest ever gap between Windows OS, 5 years. I remember in early 2001 using Windows XP for the first ever time, it looked awful!
