As previously reported, Deer Park Alpha 1 will be the first developer preview of Mozilla Firefox 1.1.

Comment: It’s good to see the new version of the great coming around, especially now that it’s available to the general public. I’ve made a few little notes about Deer Park below:

• Sanitize Feature; allows you to easily wipe things like history
• Most old extensions work, however old thmes don’t work very well as the sanitize windows isn’t skinned and the options windows has a new layout and isn’t
• It can co-exist with Firefox
• It has a built-in tool for contacting evangelists

Most of this is good, but the new features make old themes often block the program, so there’s barely a point for them. Otherwise the browser is the same, on the front end anyway. It’s worth a download though. Download information is located here
